Cadet Troop Leader Training (CTLT):

CTLT is conducted at many Army bases nationwide or in the Federal Republic of Germany or the Republic of Korea. This consists of a 3-5 week assignment at an Active Army unit. Each cadet is assigned as a Junior officer, either as a platoon leader or assistant platoon leader. They are given leadership experience and practical knowledge of the daily functions of an active Army unit.
